Jolma Architects was founded by Kasmir Jolma, a co-founder of Architecture Studio BUENAVENTURA (2014-2017).

What's in a name?
In Lapland the word jolma meant the connection of two waters. Thus, the family living at the strait between the Tornionjoki -river and the Pellojärvi -lake was called Jolma. Today the name Jolma still carries this value of joining flows of people and ideas. Jolma Architects believes that combining different values and expertise is the key to success.
